We are here for ALL the tips and tricks when it comes to working around the kitchen. File this one away for those fall, comfort cooking afternoons coming soon, and don’t miss out on in-season butternut squash!
Step 1: It all starts with a good knife!
Step 2: Seperate the stalk from the drum – lay the squash on it’s side and cut in half where the drum begins.
Step 3: Take the stalk and remove the other end making the ends flat. The interior of the squash should now be exposed on both sides.
Step 4: Stand each half of the squash vertically and begin cutting the skin off in small, thin strips.
