A summer, southern staple.

- 1 stick salted butter, cubed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk

- 5-6 Georgia peaches, cut into wedges
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Drop butter into a 9×13 dish and place in the oven to melt.
Stir together flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add in milk and vanilla, and mix until just combined.
In a separate bowl, toss peaches with 1/4 cup brown sugar and maple syrup.
