Okra can be enjoyed in so many different ways! We might be a little bias, but here in the south, fried is always best!
Freezing your okra allows it to last up to 6 months! That’s long enough to last you until next season! Here’s how to do it:
- Wash okra and pat dry to move any extra moisture
- Cut okra into small rounds, about 1/2 inch
- Spread okra onto baking pans, enough to fill a large freezer bag
- Once frozen completely, fill freezer bags with okra and place back in the freezer until you are ready to use
