When it comes to fresh green beans, it all depends on how YOU like them! Here are some steps to take your green beans from farm to table… literally!
Directions:
1. Wash & remove any leftover stems
2. Remove fiburous line running along the edge of yours beans – this helps with reheating later.
3. Cut beans to preferred size, or leave them whole if you prefer.
4. Blanch beans in boiling water for 2-4 minutes then transfer to a bowl ice water – this keeps your beans crisp and bright green.
From here you can begin cooking, or you can freeze them for later use. Enjoy!
