Apple Crisp
Ingredients
- 5 apples sliced 1/4″ to 1/2″
- 2 Tbsp. corn starch
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Toss apples with cornstarch, lemon juice, granulated sugar, nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, toss oats, brown sugar, flour, salt, and remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Add butter and stir until a crumbly mixture forms.
Arrange apples in the bottom of your baking dish. Top evenly with oat mixture. Bake until apples are soft and topping is crisp and golden brown, about 55 to 75 minutes.
