Apple Dump Cake
Ingredients
- 6 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup butter, cut into cubes
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Toss apples with pecans, sugars, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl. Pour apples into a 9×13 baking dish.
Top apples with cake mix, and place cubes of butter all over the top. Do not mix.
Bake until the top is golden and the apples are tender, about 50 minutes to 1 hour. Scoop and serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
