Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookies
A homemade spin on a seasonal Pillsbury favorite… #iykyk. Fill your kitchen with the scent of fall this weekend with these Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour + 2 Tbsp.
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cups butter, room temperature
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 3 cups oats
- 1 Georgia apple, peeled and diced
- 1 10 oz package caramel chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Mix 1 3/4 cup flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt together and set aside.
In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugars together. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Add in dry mixture and mix until combined. Stir in oats.
Place diced apples in a bowl and coat with 2 Tbsp. flour. Fold apples and caramel chips into batter. Do not overmix!
Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before serving or storing.
