Cheesy Brussels Sprout Bake

Anything is good covered in bacon and melty cheese, right?! This Cheesy Brussels Sprout Bake is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at your next dinner party, Friendsgiving, or even family Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 shallots, minced
  • 2 lbs. Brussels Sprouts
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp white cheddar
  • 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. In an oven-safe skillet, cook bacon until crispy, about 8 minutes. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate, then chop. Discard bacon grease.

Using the same skillet, melt butter, adding shallots and Brussels sprouts-season with salt and cayenne. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat, drizzle with heavy cream, and top with shredded cheese and bacon. Bake about 12 to 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
