Citrus Steak Salad
A light and bright lunch ft. Georgia-grown citrus and that delicious leftover steak from last night?! Yes, please!
Ingredients
- 8 cups torn romaine
- 3/4 lb. sliced steak
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 1 medium red onion
- mandarin oranges
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1/2 goat cheese, crumbled
Citrus Vinaigrette Dressing
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. chili sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
Prepare vinaigrette by combining olive oil, cider vinegar, orange juice, parsley, honey, garlic, chili sauce, and salt.
To assemble the salad, add romaine to a bowl or plate and top with strawberries, Mandarin oranges, red onions, pecans, steak slices, and goat cheese. Drizzle with vinaigrette as desired and enjoy!
