Cozy up with a cup of coffee and a slice of this classic pumpkin bread. It is sure to make for a perfect fall morning treat.
Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground all spice
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 15 oz can pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup water
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, all spice, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves in a large mixing bowl.
In a seperate bowl, whisk eggs, pumpkin, oil and water. Gently stir mixture into dry ingredients until just combined.
Pout batter into greased loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Let cool in loaf pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
