Layered Salad

Watch your crowd swoon over this perfect Layered Salad. The easiest make-and-take dish for any occasion that everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, roughly chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 sweet red pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced into rings
  • 2 cups (10 oz.) frozen peas
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbles
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries

Directions

In a glass trifle dish, layer lettuce, green pepper, red pepper, onion, and peas. in a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise and sugar if using. Spread mayonnaise over the salad until fully covered.

Sprinkle the top with cheese, bacon, and cranberries. Refrigerate covered for several hours, or overnight.
