Ranch Spinach Dip
We all love a good spinach dip. Kick it up a notch by adding a package of ranch dressing mix for a good twist on a trusty classic dip.
This dip is great served in a festive bread bowl or in any dish you have at home.
Georgia-grown spinach is in-season every year from November through May. Be sure to check the COOL label on your spinach to see where it is grown.
Ingredients:
- 1 16 oz container of sour cream
- 1 10 oz package frozen spinach, chopped, thawed and well-drained
- 1 8 oz can water chestnuts, drained and copped
- 1 package of Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1 round loaf French bread
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix the sour cream together with the Ranch dip mix until well-blended, then fold in spinach and water chestnuts. Chill covered for 1 hour before serving.
If you are serving in a bread bowl:
Cut top off the bread, remove the center and cut into cubes. Fill the bread bowl with dip. Serve with cubed bread and vegetable sticks of choice.
