Reuben Sandwich
A Reuben sandwich is a mmmm-mmm, good way to weekend! Serve it up with a side of tomato soup and college football, and you are set!
Ingredients
- 8 slices rye bread
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- ¼ cup Russian dressing
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 lb. corned beef
- 1 cup sauerkraut
Russian Dressing:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. horseradish
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. paprika
- salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Directions:
Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the non-butter side, spread Russian dressing on each slice. Top half of the slices with cheese, corned beef, and sauerkraut. Top each sandwich with remaining slices of bread, dressing side down. Butter the outer side of the top slice of bread.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast sandwich until golden and the cheese is melty, about 3 minutes per side.
Optional: Serve with tomato soup
