Tennessee Onions
Tennessee Onions are the only TEN we see! It doesn’t get any tastier than layers of buttery, cheesy, sweet Vidalia onions.
Ingredients
- 3 Vidalia onions, sliced 1/4 inch rings
- 1 1/2 tsp. Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 Tbsp. butter, cut in 6 pads
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange 1/2 of your onions in a 9X13 baking dish.
Sprinkle onions with half of the cajun seasoning and half of garlic powder. Repeat with your remaining onions and seasoning.
Arrange butter pads on top of the onions and evenly spread the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle oregano over cheese and top with Parmesan.
Bake for about 35 minutes until onions are tender and the cheese is melty and golden brown.
